Saturday we had the opportunity to take Nicks bosses boat out to the lake. We had a ton of fun, Payson was in heaven!! We went with Jason and Heidi Woody and another family from their work. I was a little hesitant at first due to the fact that I'm due in just a few weeks and didn't think it would be much fun to just have to sit there, but it was actually nice to sit back and watch Nick and Payson have so much fun. I was actually hoping all the bumping and bouncing I was doing on the boat would rattle this baby out but no such luck....dang it!! Nick came home Friday from work with a surprise for Payson.....a Cinderella life jacket, there was no turning back after that, she was SOOO excited to put it to use. Nick thinks she'll be ready next summer to try out the wakeboard......bless his heart!!!

What a fun summer activity! I wish the boat bumping had done something for you too....I know you're getting anxious. We'll keep our fingers crossed for ya! What a brave little Payson to get on the tube with daddy!
That life jacket is AWESOME- good choice nick! too bad the bumpy boat didn't work on popping your kid out sooner but i can't believe you're almost there! i feel like we were just at the doctors yesterday. good luck!
Okay so we set it up for the 23rd at the clubhouse. It is really close to your due date so I don't know what you think... All the Jones girls and their families are going to be there. So maybe you could get your brother and mom and good ol' Ed to come join the fun!!!

So here's the low down........We have reserved the VVL Clubhouse from 4:30 until 9:30pm on Saturday, August 23
We have access to the Cabana, Fire pit, Barbecue and a ride on the VVL boat. So here's what I am thinking.........Everyone can bring their own meat. Steak, chicken, hamburger, hot dogs, fish or whatever else you can think of bringing. The kids can cook their own hot dogs at the fire pit, maybe roast marshmallows, s'mores. Can't wait to see you and the fam!
Ok well Chellys bringing desserts, my mom is bringing paper plates, utensil, etc., I'm bringing chips and dip, I don't know what staceys bringing...maybe condiments. Maybe if you want to bring a salad or maybe drinks...whatever is easier. I know I am really excited to see everyone too. Is your mom and Jason coming? It's gonna be fun, just don't go havin the baby on us!
How fun! I have yet to make it to the lake this summer. So, have you had that baby yet or what?!? It's getting close!!
